Its been a hell of a day yesterday, first my server gets hacked and then i spent 10 hours without stopping working with my techs to get all sites up and running again then the databases fail, then the ram upgrade falls back, then the bw port was downgraded, then spent about 4 hours to fix all my own sites after that was done if it wasnt enough some person who wanted to make a quick buck filed a dispute against me in paypal for a script that he bought from one of my sites one month ago!
Now its bloody obvious he is just out to make a quick buck, he claims he sent me emails but i never recieved anything, i have sold that script to over 30 people and have always helped them, anyway after this guy files a dispute i mail him asking why the hell are you doing this? he replies he mailed me and never got help, now his problem is that his server is not running on the right specs, i sent him all the info on how to make his server work the script, and he never replies, i ask him to reply and please close the dispute, never replies then in paypal posts, that he never got help AGAIN!! and wants his money back, i agree to that i click issue a refund and i get the message that he is “unable to receive payments” i reply to the dispute that if with in an hour its not resolved ill escalate the claim and i did and won.
That guy costed me over 200$ in damages, all the time i wasnt able to send payments i was losing time and money, the 200$ that i ls nothing, i could have more loss near 600-1000$ for the servers, i ordered upgrades for some other servers that were sheduled for an overnight upgrade but couldnt pay because of this guy!
After that my tech discovered that there might by a cpanel vuln i have notified cpanel of it and awaiting their reply, i hope all other webmasters who own servers know about it soon!
