Youtube has announced intergrated image ads for embedded videos with a FAQ over here.
I would’ve thought that google would monetize the videos themselves using a system that would show their own ads rather then give it to the publishers (like moi) now im all up for this but i don’t see how or where i can make these videos with the ads, nor the youtube videos embeding code has been update neither has the adsense publisher panel, lets just hope this one actually follows through it has been announced but we all know everything is beta for google.
This can mean 20-30% increase in revenue for most webmasters because almost everyone works with youtube embeded videos to make content site, and this move by google may be a clear sign that google will in youtube’s case make on exception on the whole “non-hosted media is spam” part.
Googlesystem blog made clear that right now they have not decided what videos will be offered in this program, but there will be a lot of goodies to be messed with once this goes live, googlesystem reports:
Google wants to use a similar idea for YouTube. The new YouTube video units will let you create a video channel related to your site’s content a monetize it with text or image ads. It’s not clear what kind of videos you’ll be able to add, but it’s likely the videos will be from YouTube’s content partners. Music labels and other important content owners already had a special YouTube interface that included AdSense ads, but they didn’t allow to embed their videos because they didn’t gain revenue from the embedded players (or at least not directly).
One more thing, they also pointed out that videos could be delivered by categories as well, now thats what im talking about!
I can surely have some fun with this feature once it goes live!

I just googled for dmoz right now and guess what the extended results is gone the site’s authority is seemingly gone as far as i can tell if not totally then at least 70% of it is gone because of the extended results not showing up anymore.
Now i mentioned earlier about the directories dieing slowly, seriously no matter what kind of directory you may have, run for the hills and sell it before you go down the drain with the rest of them.
Heres a screenshot for proof sake and a good memory

GAAA!
Adwords announced AudioAds a few days ago, this is my take on the whole idea not the service..

So the whole idea is advertise websites on radio, so there are no links, there is no content, there is noindexation, all it is a person on radio mentioning or talking about your site on radio, now honestly how many people do you think have a good memory? specially about some site they heard about on radio now if a url is small like “sexybeast.com” now that is memorable but if its something like “yadayadaequityloans.com” less then 2% of the general human population alive on planet earth will remember that and from that 2% what if 1.5% don’t have internet access or don’t trust buying online and/or participating in sites online…
This is the most irrelevant move google has ever made in my book, audioads? for web advertisement? puh
Its like burning money..

Well college is an excuse to sell all the sites i have but i am still gonna go ahead and do it, I’m going to invest in a few but more quality sites something i can pour all my time into, quantity is just hard too handle, a few really great sites will be all i’ll need.
I bought SEOUsers back in august, never worked on it much but i did work on its backlinks and some simple seo to be honest nothing out of the regular, it was sold on sitepoint this morning.
Thats just the first though im selling all of the sites i worked hard on this year, well most of them i can’t quite list here since they were private sales and the fact the new owners paid me to not post about them makes not posting a bit more easier..
The 2 others are ThemeVibes and AnimeMunch, both on sale and i’m off to handle a few clients with marketing tonight.

Okay so lets say you have launched a new site or directory or whatever and you need to get your alexa up fast to get more webmasters coming ot your site ya know to get to know the site better and what not do this.
Make several banners for your site big or small don’t matter and buy banner spots on high traffic sites with banners linked from your site that will send one hit to your site whenever the high traffic site is loaded, instantly giving toy start up traffic!
they dont have to visit your site for it to count once the banner loads its enough!
have fun!

This is an interesting topic, if you are using videos and/or images hosted on other sites as a the main topic on your site as if your site revolves around media hosted on other sites, not only duplicate content but its considered spam as well, if you are using a video from youtube named “idiot jumps off” obviously you’ll name the page its on the title will be something similar which leads you to rank for the same keyword based on more factors you might even take over
youtube’s ranking on google (almost impossible) but still google rather be safe then sorry.
This post is targetted towards funny jokes, mfa video, funny pictures sites that take media from other sites to save on bandwidth.
