Well i’m a total relevancy whore, everything has to be relevant to my sites in every way when im working on it but while blogging you need to let loose once in a while with either a rant or a cheerful breif report on a recent trip or event that just occurred.
Lately everyone is so concerned with relevancy to please google that we are loosing the core value of blogging “social interaction” as vague as online interaction may be, it still has to be a bit fun to do, i mean c’mon if you meet a person at a party that only talks about insurance and loans and mesothelioma would you talk to that person ever again? answer is no.
Even shoe money lets loose once in a while here are some examples..

Agree. Contests seem to cause alot of stir in the readers also. Off topic posts seem to let your readers see you more as a person, and not just some guy who has only a one track mind. In essence, more likeable.
