Recently my account switched to it as well, or perhaps I should say that I recently noticed it. The change is so minimal that it's hard to really call it a 2.0 in my opinion, but if Google wants to, sure.

The thing I'm more glad with is that I finally got the more space as well though, the 2.6GB was getting quite old especially since some had been getting the around 6GB space since somewhere last summer or so already. Although I didn't fill up the 2.6GB yet, it was stacking up nicely with about 3+ years worth of mail.

Although I use gmail as my web mail provider I have to say that from what ive read they are privacy attackers. On a recent news program it was said that google saves all gmail messages for undisclosed periods of time. Pretty scary to me.

I can't wait for this one to be released. I have been a Gmail user ever since it came out and I hope version 2.0 gets released to the public soon.

One of my gmail accounts has these new changes, I got the account really early, and changes seem to happen on it WAY before on my other gmail account.

The changes aren't massive, but are just slight changes to improve speed of use.

There is the option to switch between new and old versions, and visually hardly anything changes, a couple of gradients added here and there, and different styling of boxes that appear on hover.

The contact page is much much nicer.

When you go to a different folder, only its frame reloads when you go to it, and not the whole page.

Ive decided it is a lot better!!
