Now this 2.0 startup took a rather mild yet odd turn in after its launch, Shoeboxed used to be receipt organizing site after its re-launch its a receipt “sharing” or how they say it “Flaunting” site, the concept of the site is to share receipts to whatever you buy with your friends on the site so that they can see what you are buying and possibly do the same.

Now although this can be a good idea its just way too simple to be named a revolution in user interactivity, if anything this trend could die out slowly near exams and such because for most 2.0 sites the main traffic is coming in from the teenage demographic. Every site is going social as it may seem, in reality people would rather work alone in peace but online its all about the “Social”

If anything, this shoeboxed concept does bring a few ideas to my mind, why stop at shopping reciepts? People and webmasters online buy stuff too ya’know!

It would be cool if there was a site where webmasters show off reciepts for development of their sites, i know that throws of the sale value of the site by a bit but hey, it would be cool to see who bought the cheapest script where same for hosting WITH reviews of it!
