I was querying google for my last post on Ways to find .Gov/.Edu blogs to get links on and i ran into this post on seomoz, so i ran a few queries at yahoo as well to see if they have some good stuff coming up or not and obviously they did have something to offer..

Why would you want a link on a .gov or a .edu blog?

gov and edu links are considered better by the likes of google because they are considered authority sites
