Blueverse is proud to offer you suggestions on where to get inspiration for your blog posts. We hope to make it a weekly feature so that you can get a new source of inspiration every week.
Here are our suggestions for today:
If you are looking for a good place to find out what people are currently searching for the most, take a visit to the Google Trends Lab. If you can post information quickly enough, you may gain some new readers for your blog that would have otherwise not found you.
From the home page, you can see the top ten trends and it gives you the option to see more hot trends. By clicking this link it will open a list of the top 100 current trends. There might be something in the list that you can easily blog about that day, and if you are really good, you could make a few different posts about a hot trend every day to explode your traffic stats.
And the next tip is involved more around your niche market. Find a popular blog that contains information about the niche your blog is about to see what they are writing about. If they have a lot of comments be sure to read those as well. These comments on a particular subject give you great ideas for writing blog posts. Reader’s comments about the topic might give you a different angle on a subject than you would get from just reading the article itself.
As many of you may know, I write blog posts and web content for many different webmasters. By doing this, I have learned many different approaches to finding inspiration for writing great content. I hope you will enjoy my suggestions, I can’t wait until next week when I can share some more with you.
Where does your blogging inspiration come from? Blueverse would love to know so that we may share your suggestions with our readers, we’ll also let you tell us what you think about our suggestions. Add a comment to this post and keep reading Blueverse, you might just see an article with your blogging inspiration ideas in it.
This idea was in my marketing/advertising arsenal the minute i started anime/streaming sites, but to widen the markeable niche here I’ll give out a few tips on how you can use youtube to promote almost any kind of sites, Recently i saw a post on tc that showed a youtube video of microsoft promoting vista, which by the way is an awesome idea overall.
Here are the stats for it, although it was blogged about on techcrunch the video did not get many views but still you can use SMM to get traffic tot he videos, even if your video knocks out around 100 views thats a good thing because now 100 mainstream users know about your website.

Figuring out just what to promote..
If its the anime/video streaming niche, then you probably already know what to do but if you have a product website or a niche that isn" />#8217;t really “video” friendly then you’ll need to be a little creative.
Promoting an activity is a good way to get people’s attention too, the best example for this should be this site : Pimp My Walk they either create their own videos or find videos using p2p programs and upload them to their youtube as a resource to their own users at their site and on every video page they link to themselves which gives them some kick ass traffic.
Promoting a service can be tricky stuff, i mean “ebooks” and “how to books” when i say services because thats the most popular niche in the how to topic, this one is tricky because here you will have to either upload testimonials or case studies of people with the problem or whatever the niche suggests, it has to be genuine and moving and this can be really hard because you can’t just find these videos you’ll have to make them (record them) using real people.
Promoting a blog, this is my favorite part because bloggers can make or upload (showcase) videos just about anything as long as the video gets tons of views no one cares where it was retrieved from, bloggers such as Shoemoney and Johnchow are examples of this one, Jeremy has videos on his personal life which features him and videos on SEM by Pam, whereas Johnchow loves to make videos on cars, past time activities, food, movies anything that will float his boat. When bloggers make videos and showcase them on their blog its the best marketing tactic ever because it makes your users feel like they are a part of the blogger’s life!
Including your link..
Including your link on every video is crucial and its better if you can somehow make an intro that you can add to every video, something really really flashy that shows your site’s name and address, you can also add your link to the description and/or on your youtube profile page that will definitely help bring in people to your site as well as give you some link love, not that it would be all that great but keep in mind the whole objective here is to bring in excessive traffic.
Here is shoemoney’s intro, to show you what you may need later on..
Apparently there was a major flaw in the last wordpress version (2.3.1) that leaks out all your draft posts to just about anyone, an update is necessary to avoid any data loss or content theft.
WordPress 2.3.2 is an urgent security release that fixes a bug that can be used to expose your draft posts. 2.3.2 also suppresses some error messages that can give away information about your database table structure and limits and stops some information leaks in the XML-RPC and APP implementations. Get 2.3.2 now to protect your blog from these disclosures.
While Otavo has been called the intention engine, you may not know the reasons why. Otavo is quite simply a social bookmarking site where users can collaborate on a search project together or on their own. It’s a great community of members and staff who are more than ready to help you with your quest for knowledge on any subject.
Of course, you can always help out on someone else’s quest as well and make some new friends along the way. Members enjoy helping out on your quest and they are given a reputation in the community according to how much they help other Otavo users.
Otavo’s name comes from “Organizing Text, Audio and Video” because that’s just what this search engine can do for you.
The way Otavo works is you start a quest for information on a certain subject and you are provided with a web page where you can add links to the information you know about. Other members can come into the same page and add their links that they think adds value to the subject. This is a great way to gather a database of quality information on any given subject and a great example of collaborative web searching.
The site is easy to use and it’s always fun to work with a group of people instead of just searching for information on your own. Waiting on information doesn’t fit into our current schedules for everything we need to search for, but if you are lucky there will already be a quest for the information you need to know already in progress. This way, all you have to do is see the information about what you need to know, all in one spot without having to filter through pages of junk websites to get to the information you really want to know.
So I was reading techcrunch and i read about blogfuse, and frankly i love the idea simply adore it!
What better then to give social networks a taste of your feed, ay?
Thefacebook app is now available on the subscribe page and ready for use and I tested it out and it works perfectly!
I think this is a good way to Diversify Your Feed Readers, and after a few weeks ill have stats to prove it as well, this is my first attempt at a facebook app so wish me luck!
So the new blueverse theme is up with a few faults i know that but at least its up and looks great as far as i can see after a few more edits here and there, this theme would be perfect and i added 3 new sections to the site SEO Tools, the Blueverse Wiki and the Books section that will showcase many free ebook resources (nothing but the best) including my own free seo book.
After installing the new theme i found this add…
Apparently yahoo has soo much money that they are running test ads now..
As reported on TechCrunch, Apple has applied for a patent that will allow iPhone users to go right through the line when shopping at certain coffee shops and other retailers.
Some say this technology has been around for years and Apple shouldn’t be allowed to put a patent on it while others think retailers won’t accept doing business this way because of the way they market to consumers while they are standing in lines waiting to pay for items.
With the prices manufactures pay to be near the cash register, it only makes sense that this would be detrimental to their sales causing them to no longer pay for their products to be in that particular location.
While some retailers in Japan and other overseas markets have already implemented such emobile commerce options, it remains unseen how Apple plans to have users pay for their items. Will it be with a credit card or will the iphone device have an internal banking system that draws right from your bank account?
Either way, with identity theft on the rise, entering your personal information through text or by voice is a risky thought for many people. Some people only see the advantages of being able to pay for items right from your iPhone to save time and make shopping more convenient. It’s the long term effects that will strike everyone in the retail industry that must be taken into consideration before implementing such technology on a widespread scale.
Apple’s patent application is vague on how consumers will pay for items using this mobile technology making it appear less likely they will get their application for a patent approved.

What does Kwout Do?
Kwout is a tool that you can use to easily capture a quote from another website or blog to show your readers exactly what you are blogging about. It’s easy to use, you can see my sample below that I captured from TechCrunch, the inspiration for this post.
You can see that I cut out a part of the post that inspired me to write this post. It wasn’t hard to do either, it took less than a minute for Kwout to generate the code so that I could put this snippet of TechCrunch in my post.
All you have to do is enter the url of the website and hit the button that says “Kwout” to pull up a screenshot of the entire web page you want to blog about. You can then choose the area to cut out by dragging your cursor over the area. If you mess up, just hit cancel and then start over. Once you have it the way you want it, just hit “cut out” and Kwout does all the work for you. In just seconds, Kwout will generate the code you need to put it on your website or blog.
Use Kwout in your blog posts to see just how much of an interest you can generate. The more people you have visit your blog, the more chances you have of gaining subscribers and loyal readers. Last year in December was when Jimmy Wales, the founder of Wikipedia announced they would be launching a human powered search engine and calling it Wikia. Wales said that the results would better than Google or any of the other search engines because humans would make a better quality decision.
Since the announcement of the human powered search engine others have started their own approach to designing one. Maholo was launched in May of 2007 and is already showing quite a growth pattern.
Google has also announced their own version called Knol just this month. It’s clearly a direct result of being annoyed by the Wikia Search announced last year. Wikipedia refuses to advertise Google ads across their pages adding to the frustration of Google.
Will we see the launch of Wikia Search before the end of this year as Wales promised it would be last year? It depends on who you ask. A few days ago a report was published in an IRC chat that proves Wales is wanting to hold good on his promise for the end of year human powered search engine, with it in a private beta version before being released to the public sometime in January 2008. But if you ask the CEO of Wikia, Gil Penchina, as to an exact date of the launch, he simply says that he cannot comment on the timing.
Many internet users are waiting the arrival of Wikia Search so that they may judge for themselves the search results that will be created. The idea of human powered search engine results is something all internet users are interested in, but the final value of Wikia will be decided by actually using it and not by what people hear about it in the news.
