		<description>Although I don&#039;t really use google alert so much for blogging purposes on itself it&#039;s definitely a great feature, sort of like a custom RSS for any possible search term you could imagine. Only downside though is that it isn&#039;t RSS but mail in my opinion, since it floods your inbox a bit if you set up multiple alerts whilst that would actually be a thing for which I&#039;d use an RSS reader. 
 
But I suppose for Google it&#039;s easier to mail than host millions of custom RSS files. </description>
