Too bad their prices are so ridiculously high for what little benefit it offers over Google webmaster tools.. at least from what i can tell.

Hi Brian
Thanks for your feedback.
Take a look at the comparison chart to see what benefits there are over GWT - we think there are a number of compelling reasons to use Crawl Score that make it worth the money.

Just to update you, we have introduced a lower priced package ($19.99) for smaller sites.

I agree that getting your site crawled and indexed is as important as getting links. This is one of the most overlooked aspects of SEO.

If i had the money I would most likely try this out, but first I would need a host, as most free blogs such as Wordpress and Blogger don’t allow you to create pages for sitemaps, although I suppose you could change a page in Wordpress if you really wanted a sitemap, but I know for sure that if your with Blogger you can’t do this, even though Blogger is owned by Google. If you have a host though, go for it, as it looks like a great service!

Hi Commes
You can upload the sitemap that Crawl Score generates to Google and Yahoo (and MSN come to think of it) regardless of who your site is hosted by so it’s not absolutely necessary to have the sitemap on your site (although recommended).
If your blog is hosted you are unlikely to have too many crawl issues in terms of http but Crawl Score will help with issues such as duplicate page titles. 404’s and so on.
