I don't usually think "Joomla" or "Drupal" the instant someone says "Blog". The first thing that comes to my mind when someone says blog is wordpress/ blogger. Joomla is just too much for a blog, esp. in its initial stages. People wanting their blogs to be like CMSs might prefer them. But, wordpress keeps getting better all the time. Well.. Course I guess it depends on the kind of blog you plan to have and whether you want to offer other free services like you do here. They install easy enough, but they have a steep learning curve to get it where you want it. I would say that those are for more advanced users of the net. I like all the Wordpress features, but right now I don't have the money for hosting if I want to put advertisements or customize my Wordpress blog. Also, Drupal is far more superior then Joomla. Drupal may be more"techy" but it is way better in many ways.
