Just would like to add in what you have already written that the key to writing good articles is to write what you already know about your topic of choice. Never ever try to pass yourself off as an expert in a field you know nothing about. This damages your credibility and hurts your future efforts.
You must stick with what you know. If you need some help in getting started, you’ll find plenty of information about your subject. Take your time, and read what other authors are saying on your subject.

I agree that article marketing is a grate way to promotes ones site or blog. But I don’t think it’s necessary to submit to every article directory. Just the big ones will do.

I agree that now a days, most of the people write articles to get some traffic on their sites. But most of the people also earn some $$ through articles writing. I`ve also written many articles in the past and i`ve gotten some good traffic on my sites through my articles. Now i`m also seriously thinking of earning some money through my articles.

I definitely agree. Many blogs have amazing designs ad placement and the works but they dont have any content to build off of. Well, good content anyways. I am going to reffer this to starting bloggers I may see, because so many people have great potential with the way their blog looks but they do not have the content.

    Great Read.

The only thing with this is, make sure that the content you submit to the article directories, is fresh, and not the same article that you have posted on your site, as then that is duplicate content, and I know Google really doesn’t like that for sure. But other than that it can be a good start to getting some traffic.

If you do plan to place the same article up, at least rewrite it so that it’s not duplicate content. This way it can contain similar information, but still be “fresh” to the readers.

Writing paid articles is good way to increase your profit, but remember that they should be good quality and smart-written. If you won’t write promotional article in a smart way it’ll look like regular advertisement. If people will notice that the articles are written just to make money and they don’t contain useful information most probably they’ll bury your blog amongst their friends…
Moreover, I agree with sunken. The worst thing in the internet is if you’ll go on one blog and then on another you might see the same articles! If you want to show that something is worth seeing it’s better to comment it in your article and include a hyperlink to commented article. People would like to know others’ opinion about different stuffs and that is why they do read blogs.

I’ve learned many things about SEO and blogging from Blueverse. I agree with the fact that you have to write daily to keep up the traffic. If your website contains duplicated material, it will keep your users away!

I think writing articles is a great way to get some money . I hate when same articles are on 2 different website . That’s very annoying because one person spends probably several hours on writing it and other just copy , paste it without even asking the real writer.
