7 Reasons you should be a Blogger

20 February 2008 - By Ahson Rafiq - Filled in Blogging, Make Money Online

I’m earning a more decent income through this blog and as time passes people tend to inquire about my “money maker online” that i talk about so much and every single time i state these 7 reasons why i choose to be a blogger then do anything else. Having strong reasons to do something can sometimes influence people to follow in your footsteps too.

Fast Money

You have to admit, making money online is easier then anything online if you know the right things to do. Blogging is one of the easiest things I’ve tried since I came online and that does include my MFA sites, the more you work the more you earn thats the beauty of it!

And the money straight to the bank!

Flexible Hours

You can blog at any hour of the day as long as you DO blog once or more times a day its all good and the rest of the time you can spend working on your health and other activities you might want to indulge in.

Great Experiences

While blogging you get to learn something new every single day, and yes it’s a fact I for example learn at least 1 new thing a day usually by trial and error, its really important to try new things online to get new experiences and more stats on what works and what doesn’t for you. I am planning a more detailed post on Web Development Trial and Error in the next few days subscribe to stay updated.b

Free Stuff

Alot of money bloggers get free stuff to review and alot of trial offers , which is the best part of having a blog, trying out new services is one of the best perks that I can think of in blogging, specially seo and marketing related services!

Growth & Expansion Opportunities

If you blog for a living then the possibilities are limitless for your growth and opportunities to expand either your blog or your web portfolio.
For example, I choose to start this blog because i want to earn money and blog about making that money at the same time and use all the extra cash to further grow my network and eventually start my own designing brand.

Credit & Fame

While blogging you get all the credit which is one of the best things about blogging, no higher authorities taking credit for your work that you put your time in to.

No way but up

Over time your blog will only get better if you follow the pro bloggers of today

  • John chow
  • Pro Blogger
  • ..etc

John chow in fact grew from 2000$/month to 30,000$/month and he predicts the blog will at one point earn 300,000$/month, like i said no way but up

    Ahson,

Good stuff! But let’s broaden this topic a little bit. It is certainly possible to make money from your own blog if you position yourself well and deliver quality content. However, there is a more sure-fire way to do it. I found it about three months ago.

I was reading a blog – which one, I cannot remember – and the writer happened to mention in passing a place to market yourself as a freelance blogger: http://www.odesk.com. I was a bit skeptical, because I had been to sites like Helium.com and found the hype far exceeded the reaility. Nevertheless, oDesk was only a mouse click away, so I checked it out.

Am I ever glad I did! In just three months, I am earning money as a freelance writer of blogs, web content, sales copy, and sundry other needs. In fact, my earnings are increasing so quickly that I will soon have to decide whether to continue as a moonlighter or go fulltime with my online writing.

oDesk is simply the best connection between the freelance provider (whether you are a writer or techie) and the buyer needing to outsource work. Check it out!

I’d say Fast Money is difficult. It takes some time for the blog to take off, unless you’re catering to such a niche where you have literally tons of material to write, so you write nearly 3-4 articles per day. Then its possible to earn Fast Money.
