Blackhat – Working with API Page creation and dealing with dup content de-indexation.

I love making MFA sites powered by APIs, as a matter of fact theres a script i’ve been working on that made me alot of money before but the problem is there is always a bug popping up every now and then regarding de-indexation and most of its traffic..actually all of its traffic comes from google, so the SERPs are really important to it. To stay indexed I’ve tried alot of things such as..relevant links, different class c IPs, high authority links, big pr site links, mass linking, deep linking, ip cloaking, index title rotator…and so many other things that i can’t even remember, I’ve been on and off on this project for 3 months now.

Sorry, I won’t be posting a link to the newest project of mine because of obvious connection between my blog and the site, i will however post it when i am completely sure of its SERP’s strength.

The main issue with an API based page creation and data entry is that the same data is already available on another site (the site that you are getting the IP from..) and its a big problem because at first you’ll get really good traffic from lower rankings on the keywords but slowly as you grow the rankings will start to go up too, they might even outrank the original site, thats when the real problem starts! This is when either google or the site from which you got the api will start to notice the fact that you are copying their data if they have told you already that you can copy it without any consequences then you’ll be good with the site owners but what about google? No matter what your agreement is with the original site they won’t care, google’s first priority is quality results for its searchers, and having 2 sites with the same content is un-acceptable to them. You’ll obviously be de-indexed because of the age authority, you have just started out and the original site already has the age and relevance to be an authority for that niche.

Like I said, I’ve tried everything except one, this may sound odd but unique content on a MFA API aggregator, the unique content helps the copied content stick more, considering the fact that I only build Video MFAs, original articles are no where to be found so that was an obvious issue that i overlooked. Below I’ve made a checklist of the things you would need to do to avoid de-indexation, these are the things that I did to stay in google, still!

  • Unique content, A blog maybe? Since most of the content on my MFA is just videos and tag, a blog was the perfect addition to it, technorati was my first stop along with 10 original articles, when i was accepted into all the indexes i used a feed aggregator to get new content on the fly.
  • Links, sitewide! Links are important, I prefer link exchanges, because they are free, and sitewide because i get the most out of every exchange and i try to get links from sites.
  • The feedburner html widget, it counts as indexable content too and you can add the widget to every page just with a few lines of code this way your site stays relevant with the latest news as well. Although i don’t want to rank for all the article’s keywords, I do want to stay in google’s index for the videos.
  • Keep an eye on the number of links, if you over do link building it would be painfully obvious just what you were trying to do, either if you’re trying to get text links from site for google or blog mentions for a better techno rank its all obvious if you over do it, i like to keep my link building numbers down, like 10 links a week at most, that way it shows my site is active in the webosphere but not over doing anything!
  • Choosing ad networks, once again don’t over do it, adsense is good but one more adnetowrk won’t hurt but make sure its not PPC in my case i would go with adsense and one affiliate per site, that way the site has a certain originality to it and the look of not being a monetization junkie. I went with Adsense and Zango cash.

That’s all i did and started earning like i was, not the same amount but in the same daily growth as before.

What about if you take the CJ.com API and have products releated to a nich there, description with some rewrite rules. Options to place any part of the productdetails any where you like and in any order. Dripfeed it into your wordpress blog using any plugin and widget you like with the option for a shop like look for your wordpress blog.
