With the popularity of blogging increasing every day, there are many useful tools available to help with your blog. I’m sure everyone appreciates any help that they can get when they’re blogging. By using some of these tools, you can save time and headache.
1. Stock.xchng
If you are needing images for your blog or blog posts, this is a great place to find some great stock photos. This website is used by many web developers and individuals every day. Some of the stock images may cost some money while others are available for free. Flickr is great but sxc provides a hell lot bigger collection of usable images for your blog while flickr mostly has copyrighted and/or personal photos.
2. Feedburner
Feedburner is an RSS tool that is used by tons of bloggers around the world. You can add an array of features to your RSS feed by using Feedburner. Feedburner is considered one of the most effective feed marketing tools ever, it offers a wide selection of tools to help you optimize and promote your feed along with awesome stats on how many subscribers you have and what they use to subscribe and for more advanced stats they also provide information on views and clicks on your feed items. Its a must have for all blogs.
3. Pingoat
Pingoat is a tool that pings (notifies) the different services that keeps track of blogs and publishes the blog content. This will let the service know that your blog has been updated and they will begin to crawl your blog to find out what has been added. This can lead to increasing the incoming traffic to your blog.
4. Photo Dropper WordPress Plugin
With this great WordPress plugin, you can find Creative Commons licensed photos on Flickr. This will help you find new photos to use for your blog posts. The credit link is automatically added below the picture that you have found by using Photo Dropper. This assures that you are following the Creative Commons license guidelines.
5. ScribeFire FireFox Add-On
This add-on for FireFox allows you to post to your blog, take notes, and much more. This could be easier for you to make blog posts without having to load up the administration area of WordPress. If you are one of those bloggers who have more then 4-5 blogs and want to post on the go for maximum time optimization this is the plugin you must have for firefox.
6. BlogJet
Anyone that is serious about blogging understands how saving time can help out a lot. With BlogJet, you save time by posting to your blog from your desktop. This isn’t a free software, but it is worth the cost. There are many great reviews on this software including one by the author of Blogging For Dummies. This program has a very clean design and makes it easy to post to your blog(s).
7. RSS Submit
RSS Submit is a tool that allows you to automatically submit your feed to various RSS directories. This is another tool that will cost some money. When this post was written, the licenses started at $44.95. This can help you save a lot of time when you need to submit your RSS feed to directories.
These are just some of the many tools that are available to help you in the blogging world. After all, if we can get help that saves us time we can focus on the other important parts of blogging as well as life. Serious bloggers need serious tools and there are many that are available. Keep in mind that there are a lot more tools available on the Internet to assist you with blogging. The time that you save could be the time that makes you more money.

Excellent post! Spreading the word on your blog and or website is very important, otherwise you are wasting your time.
