Well, it’s been quite hard for me atleast, this blog started growing really big time near the end of january and since then I wanted to see what would I get if I actively tried to get more RSS readers, after several offers of email and rss subscription I finally have more then 500 rss readers.
The main tactics were as follows
Ebook/Product offers – Email Subscription (with download link)
This technique get me nearly 300 subscribers in a week and they are still there, as a matter of fact, they are actually growing because of my free internet marketing video offer.
Content Timing – Viral Content – SMM
Content timing is more of a little trick I found really productive, when i blog 12 hours before the feedburner feedcount update I get the best results in my feed count, I’m not saying this is a sureshot trick but it works for me so I thought I’d mention.
Other then that, the reviews and lists that I’ve been on gets me a good number of readers as well.
Unusual feed usage
This is probably illegal since these weird auto blogs are copying my content through the feed but since I add a read more tag in the middle i get the most out of those autoblogs which is basically a linkback from them. Other then that I’m getting even more file downloads through that (these are files that I offer as incentive in return for subscribing to my feed).

Congrats man! I just hit 100 subscribers yesterday! I don’t have any free ebooks or anything, i’ve just been focusing on other things.
