Everyone wants to know “the secret” why people visit any blog online specially the popular blogs, so I thought why I would wanna go to someones blog. Here it is.
- Good content, tips and top lists..etc
- Unique style of critiquing other bloggers or topics
- Creative content, such as using images or videos to make the topic at hand clearer.
- Free stuff
- Guest authors every week, that aren’t posting just to get links for themselves
- Ads that take over my reading experience.
- Good grammar and even better reference links.
- Overall popularity of the blog.
- Interaction with the readers.
- Number of readers of that blog counts but not as much, just about anyone can get alot of readers in a few weeks now.
- Frequency of posts
- Ratio of rants/off topic posts vs. niche relevant posts.
- Good theme.
- Un-intrusive ad placement.
- frequency of sponsored posts vs. normal posts
- Author’s own projects and its success matters alot.
- Tools and Add-ons on the blog, such as pr checkers, serp checkers..etc
- Number of spam
- Self promotion
- ..And finally the number of spam emails from subscribing to its email news letter.
Those are the things that matter alot to me while reading a blog regularly and yes, I do think of those things before I take any new step with blueverse, it’s like my necessities in a blog list or so to say.
