If you’re taking someone out of a normal life and into the making money online life, it takes alot of training to get to the level where that certain someone can actually navigate through the net and scratch some starter cash for the first few months.
To be honest making money online is hard as hell if you are fresh out of the real world whereas if you already know the basics, it’s much easier to get along with everything. Anyway if you are new to the game then this post just might help you.
Skills
Everyone has skills in some areas, if you don’t have any skills in the following, then get some!
- Writing – Essays, Articles or Stories..
- Creativity – Designing or writting skills, anything that sets you apart.
- Charisma – You need to have a certain charismatic personality that makes people want to listen to you.
- Business Basics – The very basics of buy, sell and trade.
Basic Tools
- A domain
- An email
- A bank account
- A paypal account
Affiliates
This is kinda like selling other people’s things, you make a sale for them through your site and you get paid 30%-50% commission. There are forex trading offers that go all the way up to 10,000$ commissions per sale, but since the stock market is going down I’m not so sure if that will work or not.
There are affiliates for just about anything from designer brands to retail stores. You can pick just about any type of affiliates to make a site on, anything you know about.
Dropshipping
This is like having your own store without really buying anything, you can open a store on any topic, any product/brand and sell it for any price you want.
The only thing you need to do is pick any product and I could give you a whole list of US dropshippers, payments would be handled by paypal.
This is how it works:
People buy from you at a certain price, like 50$ for a pair of jeans
You pay your dropshipper the real price which is 30$ or something
keep the profit and then the dropshipper handles the shipping itself.
The above mentioned techniques are the very basics (yet hard) of making money online, around 50% of the newbies who want to make money online go for that.

Harder than hell
The only reason I got into blogging at all was because I happen to know way too much about a subject and thought perhaps somebody else out there might want to know about it. I still make most of my money doing what I always did, consulting on technology in the real world.

Nice advise to start, but please, let us get real here. Except for a hand full of bloggers, no one makes big bucks blogging.

From my point of view it’s sometimes pretty hard to monetize a site without general knowledge about the internet. Your goal should be to create a site that people want to read about, or to create small stuff that you can sell through stock sites for example to build a foundation. It’s so much easier to promote a web project once you have a solid foundation, which means either connections to other bloggers or just a monetary base to pump out some promotion with a contest or advertisement.

I’d recommend folks who want to affiliate with other products/services they look out for promoting digital stuff…
Vendors such as ClickBank is a great way to start.
Hint — you could promote my “blogging” product and make some nice money

Nice post Ahson.. Another great way is CPA offers (cost per action). These are when you get a commission for a person’s info only – for eg. getting email addresses. It works well because you don’t have to actually sell anything. Cheers

So the question is what’s the govenrments role in all of this. Are they helping or hurting or just not even a player. I always try to look behind the scenes and see who’s pulling the strings.
