Do you know that one of today’s favorite plug-ins used in almost all business sites was once hated and considered a big annoyance in the online industry?
Yes, autoresponders did find themselves in a bad light due to their connections with directories and FFA links. Back during those days people were not yet aware of the concept of autoresponses and their role in internet marketing, thus autoresponders were considered spam and scam. These days however, people make great use of autoresponders as they bring in a lot of money, especially when they are used properly.
But to those who want to make quick cash from their currently existing site, you can also take advantage of autoresponders and their even more effective functions in the field of sales and target leads, then here the things you should do.
Creating your Autoresponder Network
Before creating your own autoresponder network, you must first learn what the ideal autoresponder should do. The main objective webmasters want to achieve here is to come up with a site which others in their chosen niche would want to link on. This kind of site will not go near the directories or link farms, thus they would look far from being spammy. By having this kind of site, you will be able to attract webmasters who are really focused on your chosen niche topic and are able to join forces with you. Hence they would not hesitate to give their real email address, and by then you can merge their details onto your mailing list and create a highly influential marketing network in which you can advertise your goods to webmasters and website owners involved in your niche.
The next thing you must do in order to make an autoresponder work properly and start generating some bucks is by selling your real site (or service) to interested buyers. You can try to convince them to place ads on your site for a favorably low monthly fee, or sell them a product they need.
Through autoresponders, you can venture into affiliate marketing, and from there you can find a directory that will pay you for each and every person you convince to sign up to their site. You can also opt to create your own directory so that all the revenues would fall on your hands.
Now, to create a network of autoresponders and make them work to generate income, then here are the steps you should do:
- Come up with BIO sites for each site you want to place your autoresponders. This may take some effort but you have to make your sites credible enough for webmasters to invest on. It’s nice to add some highly informational content such as news, and factual information, then add a few links to the sites to make them look better.
- At the bottom part of the site (or at least the lower part of your page), spare a small section in which you can feature some related links to your topic. Allow these sites to submit their links which would be placed under your review. Require them to submit their email addresses as well. Some webmasters tell those who want to submit their links that they should first email the webmasters with their link if they want it included. These webmasters would only use a script to parse the link and the email address from the fake email addresses and have it included on their submitter’s list.
- Mass produce the autoresponders! Let them spread like bacteria all over the web-you can as well add money-making schemes such as Adsense so that they will generate money on their own. Try to provide a few links to them an allow them to go through the search engines. Through this you will stumble upon large info sites wherein real people go to when looking for information. However, those site owners who are doing nothing but promoting their site will easily find you, so take advantage of that as well. Have them link back to you, but make sure that they link you first before you link them.
- Put a limit on the links through a roll. Allow a maximum of 10 sites, and whenever a new one comes in, let go of the oldest link. It wouldn’t really matter much since the webmaster has already forgotten that he submitted a link to your site.
Now that you have built your autoresponder network, it’s time to do the dirty work: blatant advertising. Activate your mailing list and contact all of those you can find on your roll. You can immediately express your intentions to advertise your products or services, or try to be more personal and thank them for the links they have submitted. Whichever way you choose is quite effective since your site has grown bigger and there are more chances that your contacts are actually in need of your stuff. In no time, you’d find your site full of incoming targeted traffic and of course, more money!
