We all know how hard it is to manage blogging in a competitve niche such as make money online, which is just an example that I’m gonna use here, there are tons and tons of hard niches out there which I’m not even gonna touch in this post, let’s just stick to the common competition at hand which is the make money online niche.
Keeping up with your own experiments and experiences within the niche.
If you want any edge within this niche at all you need to stand out from the other bloggers, what better way of doing that then talking about a topic that you know inside out through your own experiences rather then reading up on it on other blogs, I can say this with full confidence : “Personal Experiences make a better blogger!”
Try and Publish Strategy
This is more like an extension to my last point, if you talk about stuff that you wont do yourself or havent done it before yourself then you’re just full of it, this is one main reason why I don’t have massive readers by now, I take my time and get to know stuff then post, but when I post like everyday with tons of information that could be useful but I’m not sure if it would be or not then I get like 50-100 more readers the next day and by the end of the week I’m tired and I’m not liking where my blog is going.
IF you believe in what you say, then you have a good chance at authority and a good blog.
Competition Valuation
Okay, every blogger has his/her own thing, some give opinions, some give facts and some are just ranters, if you think you have what it takes to steal away or maybe even gather up an audience to go against them then you definitely should, being unique is what its all about.
And every once in a while it’s good to take a sneak peak on what your competitors are doing to stay ahead of the game, then you do something a little more unique and special with your own blog, its important that you show up with a new trick everytime your comeptitors do, that way you get that special advantage of not being left out of the blogging game.
Short stories, essays and random articles help alot!
If you think of yourself as a good writer and it being the reason you wanna be a blogger in the first place then you should always try to write something all the time atleast 1-2 everyday, even if it’s not a blog post or even a topic that your blog is on, keeping up your writing skills is probably the best thing a blogger can do for his/herself, everyone likes to read posts that are formed properly and in a more fun way, it makes learning fun.
Strategy, Strategy, Strategy!
It’s like having a gameplan for every week, I have one, just like the blackhat phase when I started the topic on blackhat then I finished it no matter what, I did not lose my train of thought, having that is really crucial for any blogger, if you start a topic and you have atleast 2 successful posts within that topic or more like 2 consecutive posts then you have to cover any other interesting topic that you could possible think of within that topic range, there’s alot more potential within a blog then you can imagine, if a post works for you that you haven’t tried before then the best idea there is to explore your options by posting a bit more on that subject, I’ve done that alot of times and have always got good results either through traffic or revenue via ads/affiliates, like they say, trying never hurts, giving up does though.
So, this was more like an inspirational posts for all my readers already in the blogging game trying to earn some cash through their skills, don’t give up just yet, there’s a hell lot more to do here!

I totally share your idea of strategy. It is really a wide plan directing to the goal.It is easier to move in the planned space and the way seems more clear and less personal efforts are needed.

I agree with Learn English, socialising and social networking are crucial to getting your blog out there and ranked.
I really agree with the idea of random articles too – you just need one successful one to give you that boost!

Checking out your competitors (and borrowing their ideas) is one of the wisest yet under utilized strategies there is. In my business it proves to be invaluable. Thanks for mentioning it!

Short stories are really good for internet, they don't take much time, efforts and energy, besides if they are informative and interesting they are able to draw readers' attention.

Over time, your knowledge and effective use of tools will build on itself and transport you to the top of your field. All the other blogger and business owners in your niche will be far behind you in keeping updated on emerging trends and new knowledge. You will have that elusive competitive edge everyone is always after.

"keeping up your writing skills is probably the best thing a blogger can do for his/herself"
That's one of the best pieces of advise, bar none, that I've come across in the past few weeks. The evolution of our writing skills as bloggers is more than a good idea it is a necessity. I'm not sure if I'd agree that you should just post any topic to your blog for the sake of keeping your skills fresh, but why not open a few free blogs on a place like blogspot that will allow you to have more leeway in the content you post.

thanks for sharing the strategy…..

I think the most important thing is to be yourself to stay on top of the blogging game. People like my blog because of my personality and of who I really am. I write just the way I think, and I am very honest about what I have to say.
March 26th, 2009 at 9:14 pm
I have to say, to keep yourself motivated would require you to be 'that type of person' already? I mean like somebody who enjoys writing, and not somebody who feels like its a lot of effort.

This is very hot info. I’ll share it on Delicious.

well social bookmarking is effective but its not the only thing that make your site rank higher their are various methods such as article marketing, guest posting on high ranking sites that get a lot of traffic as well as submitting your content to qassia

Very well said: "Personal Experience make a better blogger". I totally agree with that, these days newbies go after the sites which provides magical methods of marketing for your blog or other things. But i think, it's not really important make your own mistakes learn from them. Magic is in you. Social bookmarking is very effective, but sites like twitter needs a good list of followers, so it's not easy for everyone.
