Well it’s out now…google is finally taking over the domain parking industry as well, the new adsense for parked domain is what has webmasters buzzing with joy lately, parking domains could be a kinda profitable business but with adsense it’s totally a whole new ball game.

What is AdSense for domains?
AdSense for domains allows publishers with unused domains to help users reach relevant information by presenting content on the domains.
Users often type domains into their address bar or follow expired links leading to sites with no content. Instead of an “under construction” page or 404 error, AdSense for domains provides links, search results, advertisements and other content. To do this, we use semantic technology targeted to the domain name. You earn revenue when users interact with the ads on your site.
If you have a site that has content on it (e.g., articles, reviews, forums, blog postings or other text), then your site should be used with AdSense for content. If you have a page with no content on it, then AdSense for domains can help your users. To get started with AdSense for domains, check out our set-up instructions, or search or browse our AdSense Help Forum for more information.
Please be aware that AdSense for domains is currently available to publishers located in North America with English-language accounts.

To get started, first sign in to your AdSense account and visit the AdSense Setup tab. Then, choose AdSense for domains as the product to begin setting up your domains. Click the + Add new domains link, which will take you to the Add Parked Domains page.
Step 1: Add a new domain to your account
You can add domains to your account in one of two ways: by adding them into the text box line-by-line or by uploading a CSV spreadsheet. Remember to specify the language of your domains as well, and note that you can upload a maximum of 1500 domains.
After the domains are added, they’ll appear under the Pending subtab of the AdSense for domains page. All domains submitted are subject to Google’s approval per our program policies.
Step 2: Modify your domain registrar settings
In order to allow Google to display ads on your domains, you’ll need to modify some settings at your domain registrar. This is necessary to ensure ads show up correctly on your domain. We’ve provided a step-by-step guide to assist with pointing your domain to Google’s server. If you’ve registered your domain with a common domain registrar like GoDaddy, Enom, Moniker, or others, customized step-by-step instructions are available. We’ve also provided generic instructions in case your specific registrar isn’t listed in our guide.
After you’ve modified your registrar’s settings, your domains should automatically move from the Pending subtab to the Active subtab as soon as the records validate (usually 48 hours or less). If your domain remains in the Pending subtab after this time, check our validation status information page to determine why. If your domain has moved to the Disapproved subtab, learn why this may have happened.
Step 3: Customize using colors
You can customize your domains by adding colors and keyword hints by editing your domain settings. To get to the settings page, click on the domain(s) that you’d like to edit, select the drop-down menu labeled Actions…, and click the Edit Settings option.

As you change the colors on the right-hand side, you can view how your page will look on the left-hand side of the page.
Step 4: Add keyword hints
Also found on the the Edit Settings page is the option to add keyword hints to your selected domain(s). Keywords entered into this field assist ad targeting for potentially ambiguous domains. For more information, visit our entry on keyword hints.
Step 5: Define channels
It’s a good idea to use channels to track your domains, especially if you have a large portfolio. If you’re new to using channels, you can find more information in our channels guide.
Step 6: Track your performance
AdSense for domains stats can be found along with the rest of your AdSense reports by visiting the Reports tab, then the Advanced Reports page. You can also break down your earnings by domain or by channel by selecting the radio buttons on the right-hand side of the page. Learn more about the types of stats you’ll see when viewing your AdSense for domains reports.
For more questions or concerns about using AdSense for domains, we encourage you to visit the AdSense Help Forum, where you can learn from other publishers who are participating in the program.

I did not know this was coming out for Adsense. I have a bunch of domains I am no longer using so this might be useful to do. Thanks for reporting this.
February 19th, 2009 at 3:51 pm
I would never click on an ad on one of those sites. Parking is wrong.
February 19th, 2009 at 7:37 pm
Great find…
I read in a domainer book that the big players have been put ads on sites like these for a while….
Is the release for the masses?
February 20th, 2009 at 10:39 am
This is so cool and understandable.. I should adopt this mix of images and text descriptiives in my blogs..
February 20th, 2009 at 4:49 pm
thans for the updated new. I ll try it.
February 21st, 2009 at 6:26 am
This looks like quite a good idea. I have a couple of domains that I bought and have nothing planned with them at the moment so this might be a good way to make something out of them rather than just having them sat there. Thanks for the information
February 22nd, 2009 at 4:53 pm
Looks good, i will test it out with some of my unused domains! Hopefully it will make me some money
February 23rd, 2009 at 8:32 am
very great information….good news for all publisher
February 24th, 2009 at 2:45 pm
Ok, I think I like this better than some of the other landing page programs out there. I mean, I tried DomainSponsor and had a serious bad taste in my mouth. Not only have I never been paid on any of my traffic…but after a domain hijacking…the preson who hijacked it, dropped domain sponsor on it…and having known someone very high in the company, do you think they would lock the hijackers account? No….not a bit.
BUt my question is this…Google has never quite reveled what their payouts are…this vague answer of "CHECK YOUR EPC" personally I think is a load of crap.
But if it pays better than some of these domain parking services…I'm game.

I have a few domains that I plan on using in the future, but don't have the time to build or maintain the site. This will definitely come in handy for those! Thanks!

The rules are changing again… there´s work to do and money to win.

I think AdSense for Domains might be more suitable if there is already existing traffic to the website. It could be a website you decided to shutdown, or a website that you just purchased but have not done up its contents. Either way, it will be interesting to see if ads appearing on AdSense for Domains will differ any differently from our usual Google Ads.

Wow Adsense is really kind to us. Keep coming up with this new methods to help everyone make money.
March 2nd, 2009 at 8:36 am
Can you really make money with parked domains? I always thought the click through rates would be extremely low. Just wondering. Google should not even rank them anymore due to them being in the status that makes them available for a parked domain service.

March 30th, 2009 at 4:13 pm
About time they got around to this. I just have domains sitting around doing nothing.
March 31st, 2009 at 6:12 pm
I'm not too fond of this. It's only going to lead to more parked domains. I hate parked domains… too many times I've tried to get a name that I would actually use only to find out someone parked it a few years ago.
April 1st, 2009 at 7:50 pm
hey with the help of adsense people can earn money and now adsense ads are available for parket domains as well..
April 2nd, 2009 at 7:51 am
I suggest that you setup Google AdSense for domains anytime you purchase a new domain that you are not planning to immediately use. It's very easy to setup a channel for each domain, so that you can see how many visitors are arriving each day, and the amount of money you are making for each domain.
April 4th, 2009 at 12:27 pm

i have an adsense account and looking out for different ways by which i can earn more money…is there a way i can increase my earning ..please advise…
April 12th, 2009 at 5:57 pm
If you are familiar at all with domain parking then you know that you do not write content for a parked domain. If you add content you are building a website and not parking one. For this reason you need a short domain name that can get enough type in traffic to earn some money.
April 13th, 2009 at 12:18 pm
i have an adsense account is there a way i can increase my earning ..please advise…because from the past one month i m not able to earn much money.i would be thankful to you if u can help me…

May 6th, 2009 at 12:12 am
Does anyone here have an opinion about how Adsense for domains stacks up to other domain parking programs like sedo or parked.com?
May 20th, 2009 at 2:47 am
Wow thanks for the step by step guide Ahson!… thumbs up to you! It's all good news for my old domains
May 25th, 2009 at 4:45 pm
Tried g00gle adsense with 20 domains. But no income for more than a month.:)
July 9th, 2009 at 9:07 am
adsense is taking over the whole internet market ….
July 18th, 2009 at 12:28 am
Ive actually use this on 5 of my domains that I dont use. While I dont make much money (about $5-$10 per month) it is better then just having tthe domains do nothing.
July 18th, 2009 at 1:42 pm
This is awesome, there is parked domains that still is indexed and receive traffic, its grate that we can make some extra cash from domains that’s just sitting there parked without any efforts. Thansk for the explanation.
July 19th, 2009 at 12:59 pm
Great news for all the domainers. But actually is there a minimum number of domains that have to be parked? I inquired a few time ago and the requirement was pretty high, like 1000 domains or more… any news on this issue? Have things changed?
July 25th, 2009 at 8:22 pm
It's not easy these days to find a really good parked domain. However, it's good to try.
August 28th, 2009 at 10:23 am
Its like another way making some bucks from your domain and whatever I get from this i think it will work with domains with no information.I am looking forward to make some bucks from it.If anyone has some better idea to improve the traffic of domain share it with me??
September 7th, 2009 at 12:50 am
Pretty worthless using parked pages unless you get a lot of old people ( likely to click your ads) to your sites, and or have a domain that is a mistype of a popular one. Else no one will ever find the domains.
October 10th, 2009 at 6:24 am
Well done, very nice, I just recently got this and have started using it. It is a very best way to make some money with those domains that you may have just sitting around compilation dust……….

This is news from the blue. And what has been the success ratio/yield from Adsense?
March 9th, 2010 at 12:59 am
This will ensure that all the domains I had purchased are were lying dormant, can become money-worthy.
