It was another not super great month here at Blueverse.com from an income standpoint. Let’s just say we won’t be putting the pimp daddy Airbus A380 VIP on order this month.
However, it’s been a good month of building with some great efforts being put towards generating additional traffic. I’m hopeful this will ad value to not only readers but advertisers as well. Which of course will equal more money! We did have an increase in income over last month, which is good.

Just a reminder, if you want a free link to your site on a permanent page on blueverse.com, as well as some much deserved fame and notoriety…post some comments over the course of the month and get listed here. It really doesn’t take all that much.
Tip
This comes from my personal to do list and is something I’m actually working on this month as well. To significantly boost your traffic for the long term, one of the best things, if not THE best thing you can do, is go out and comment on blogs related to your niche topic.
Choose 5 or 10 blogs that you will read on a regular basis and commit to commenting on each one at least every other day. It only takes a few minutes and you’re likely spending time reading the blog anyway. I know it’s basic, but it’s still one of the best methods and worth a reminder about.

Nice! But one thing I don't quite understand is how some blogs like mine can have a higher Alexa ranking yet the site with less ranking gets more traffic??
Now I understand about sales because many factors are involved when it comes to revenue generation that are totally based on your amount of traffic…

Not too bad of a month. An extra $600+/month can help pay some serious bills (rent in some areas as well!). As always, I appreciate you posting this information up because it gives insight as to paths that we can take in regard to generating monthly earnings ourselves!

I agree with you Mr,Versa,blog commenting is good way to add some back link and "Visible relations"and as additional advice.you could "pig your comment just to appreciate the blog place where you comment into,pingomatic is the tools I recommended for it

I'm kind of disappointed your related posts brought back all of last year's income reports and not the ones from Jan of this year. Still, I got to compare your YOY gains and it looks like you made about another 100$ since last year this time. Your numbers are pretty good and you're kicking my butt, but I think you should aim to grow by even more by next February!

Your income report gives us a goal to see where the advertisers are getting the most hits, and whats working for your niche. traffic is the main goal in our business and diverisity has now been googles pet peeve. I have been following your advice and have had about a 10% increase in traffic in the last month slowly but surely. blogging on social sites have not given much link love, but what you say does work Ive just havent found my niche social groups yet, still following your advice, have gone to the black sidel lol

When your niche is blogging about blogging, or something similar, that is easy to do but when you are working on less popular niches it can feel like you're fighting a losing battle. Especially when the owners of those blogs don't see the value of even allowing comments, let alone things like "dofollow"

SO far $650 is great achievement .it is for certain ,more over you get it with only blog making that might wont cost you $200 per month,and about blog commenting I agree with that too,I use it myself to marketing my site and it works fine to give me a linkback

Congratulations on your monthly earnings. Blog commenting is one of the best ways to build high quality links with in your niche and gain more exposure. I am currently top commentator on 30 blogs and wish to bring that number closer to 50 – it takes lots of work to keep up with that many blogs – but it gives me more ideas to write about.
