I’m sure if you’re on ANY Internet Marketer’s list, or been out to any of the bigger Make Money Online sites today, you’ve seen the Unique Blog Designs new Affiliate Theme. Everyone and their dog is pimping this thing.
I’m not a huge a “push the latest Internet Marketing product” kind of guy, so I’ll save you all the usual BS about how great this thing is (my blog post title was “Emeril” offensive enough). However, this is well worth looking at and even purchasing if you work regularly with affiliate offers or work in affiliate marketing. Here’s why…
Probably the biggest problem I have in working with pushing affiliate offers is the landing pages. I have two problems:
- I’m too much of a perfectionist to throw out a crappy looking page that looks like a 90′s web design gone bad. Personally I think you at least need something that looks reasonable to drive better conversions (yes, I know marketers have data to combat this point, I still don’t buy it).
- I pretty much suck at HTML and design. Sure I can hack my way around it, but I have no finesse skills and fine tuning things takes me forever.
As a result, I end up taking forever to get campaigns going…either that or they just sit on my to do list with no action because it’s too painful to take action on them.
Enter the Affiliate Theme. It’s from Unique Blog Designs (the fellas who designed the Blueverse.com blog theme), so you know it’s solid and the design will be top notch. Also, you have some great features like multiple layouts within the one theme (single landing page, blog site, mini/micro web site, etc.), optimized for PPC and SEO, built-in color picker and no need to touch any code.
Really it boils down to making some easy choices like colors, layout, etc., then adding text and replacing images. For me, I’m much faster at working within a structure and can replace text and images like nobody’s business.
Enough said, check out the Affiliate Theme at this link: Unique Blog Designs Affiliate Theme. I bought one (yep with my hard earned blog income at the same price everyone is paying it). That’s what I think of it.

I'd like to see the website you made with this theme. I too have been seeing it everywhere but am still addicted to the wordpress theme generator for my sites. Will you be posting a link any time soon?

I just took a look at affiliate themes, pretty clean and looks quick to set up a proxy page, question is how many themes do they have??
March 19th, 2009 at 5:21 pm
In depends on the way you will promote it.
If you want to promote with payperclick ads, then go with anything with high conversion ratio.
If you want to put ads on your website, then you have to promote something similar, or something that "complete" what your web visitor wants..
i'm affiliate with a good hosting service, it does great on a computer related website, but 0 on a recipe one…

This is a great option. I love using predefined layouts as it helps speed up deployment immensely. And for a theme built specifically for affiliate ads, you can't do any better

I really think that a good looking site will create far more conversions than anything else. In case it's ugly and looks bad it's usually not trustworthy. Or maybe it's the other way around as the more amateurish your efforts are the more people will trust you?

I see what you mean about everyone promoting this. I have seen at least 3 blogs making posts about this Affiliate theme. If everyone is promoting it, it must be a really great theme.

A good theme can greatly increase sales plus you can really crank them out quick. Which equals more $$$

Affiliate marketing is also a very smart business move, especially for those new to the Web 3.0 world. It is a lot easier getting help from an affiliate program than starting from scratch. Your advertisements will be directly targeted to those clients you want, or, your website will have the proper material to attract readers.

Awesome theme. Definitely gonna give it a go once I get the funds rolling.

I agree with you when you say the gurus can support their ideas on page design with verifiable data,
but speaking personally, when I land the usual flashy professionally written, it puts me off immediately.

They have some good themes. Even though I prefer to use WordPress. Its very easy. Just get read of all the widgets, pages, comments leaving just the posts. Fiddle with CSS for a few minutes and with a new header your new landing page is finished.

many of those people that claim they make 20,000 dollars a month are really lying and are faking those checks they photoshop it or make it appear as if it was a lot of money or write a fake cashiers check that shows all that money they made-people that are making a lot of money are those that blog online full time that also sell affiliate products on the side reason for this is because the affiliate marketing aspect is becoming saturated

Awesome theme. It's pretty clean and looks quick to set up a proxy page. Just wondering how many themes they have?

Always affiliate marketing… certainly it is powerful, but is there out there anything new? Any new out-of-the box idea for making money online? Ideas that go beyond promoting info products but that are as much (or more) powerful? CPA is coming out pretty strong… any thought?

I have read quiet a bit written about the Affiliate Theme and it seems that it is high time I have a look at it too. It seems from what I have read that the theme has a design that helps in increasing conversion rates.
