Yesterday Karen over at RevResponse.com (see my post about them a couple of weeks ago here: Earn Money with RevResponse) sent me an email after reading my Amazon Affiliate Slap post. She brought up a great point that I thought I’d share with you.
As an alternative to promoting products through companies like Amazon as an affiliate, why not give away free business resources through RevResponse and get paid for it? Karen mentioned that promoting resources on RevResponse will allow you to avoid the tax law issues that places like Amazon and Overstock are facing that are negatively impacting affiliates.
What’s more, you’ll be marketing reputable products to an audience that is never going to go away. There will always be businesses, both big and small, that want to learn and will consume the products RevResponse offers. By and large, I think business products seem more credible to site visitors, especially when it’s something like a publication that they have seen elsewhere.
If you haven’t checked out RevResponse, hop over there and see what they have to offer. Now is the time to start replacing your lost income from places like Amazon. Here’s a link over to their site: RevResponse.com

I am checking out RevResponse now and i'm not entirely sure what the site is. Is it an affiliate network? What are the offers on the website?
Thanks

It's only time before the states catch up to Internet marketing. Hopefully the Feds don't get involved, because they will want a cut of the revenue.
This is a good option. The Amazon Affiliate Slap article was good and to the point also.

I have heard great things about RevResponse.com. I do thing it would be a great alternative to Amazon

Yes, it was a big slap indeed. Unfortunately moving to another state might not be so easy… besides what are the chances other states will soon follow suite? The only solution is to raise the issue as loudly as possible and hopefully some decisions will be reversed/revised…

I think any CPA would be a good alternative but you might have to join a few to be able to replace the products you've 'lost'.

You are saying about some kind of alternative way of distributing and earning. This seems to be the only reasonable way of getting payed while the marked is flooded by big companies products.

Thanks for sharing the information and also the link. In this crisis era it's really crucial to have your income replaced if you've lost a previous one. Great post….

Amazon.com's affiliate program is so successful because it effectively links commerce and content and takes advantage of the respective strengths of Amazon.com and its affiliates. All kinds of people might buy books online, because there are books on a huge number of subjects. By itself, Amazon.com can attract a lot of these people, but there are many more readers who surf the Internet but wouldn't think to go shopping at Amazon.com.

I will try out RevResponse, they're looking one solid CPA network but what I am concerned about is why people in Amazon and everyone started to find a way for this problem? I have been hearing this problem troubling affiliates in some states, I am sure there would be some solution to it.
You nearly take anyone's income away who built their reputation online by promoting Amazon, however I am sure they would have found a better alternative and would be earning much more than Amazon.

I will be checking out RevResponse as I had never heard of it. However, I did hear about the loss of Amazon affiliate income and was very disappointed that it progressed the way it did. Thanks for sharing the info.
