We all know how hard it is to manage blogging in a competitive niche such as make money online, which is just an example that I’m gonna use here. There are tons and tons of hard niches out there which I’m not even gonna touch in this post. Let’s just stick to the common competition at hand which is the make money online niche.
Here are 4 quick tips to help you stay on top of your blogging game
Keeping up with your own experiments and experiences within the niche.
If you want any edge within this niche at all you need to stand out from the other bloggers. What better way of doing that then talking about a topic that you know inside out through your own experiences. Rather then reading up on it on other blogs, I can say this with full confidence : “Personal Experiences make a better blogger!”
Write about what you’ve succeeded at, what you’ve failed at, what’s been so so, etc. Every experience you have contributes to who you are as a blogger and entrepreneur and can provide invaluable insight to others on the same journey.
Try and Publish Strategy
This is more like an extension to my last point, if you talk about stuff that you won’t do yourself or haven’t done personally before, then you’re just full of it. This is one main reason why I don’t have massive readers by now. I take my time and get to know stuff, then post. Posting everyday with tons of information that could be useful but you’re not sure if it would be or not will help your blog readership, but at the end of the week you’re tired and probably not liking where your blog is going.
IF you believe in what you say, then you have a good chance at authority and a good blog. It will take time to develop, but the end result will be of better quality, you’ll have real world experience to draw from and you’ll be happier with what you end up with.
Competition Valuation
Okay, every blogger has his/her own thing. Some give opinions, some give facts and some are just ranters. If you think you have what it takes to steal away or maybe even gather up an audience to go against them then you definitely should. Being unique is what it’s all about.
And every once in a while it’s good to take a sneak peak on what your competitors are doing to stay ahead of the game. Then, you do something a little more unique and special with your own blog. It’s important that you show up with a new trick every time your competitors do. That way you get that special advantage of not being left out of the blogging game.
Short stories, essays and random articles help alot!
If you think of yourself as a good writer and it being the reason you wanna be a blogger in the first place, then you should constantly be trying to write something. At least 1-2 posts everyday. Even if it’s not on a blog post or a topic that your blog is on. Keeping up your writing skills is probably the best thing a blogger can do for his/herself. Everyone likes to read posts that are formed properly and have a creative twist to them. It makes learning fun.

A fifth tip that I would give is this… always have a passion for whatever it is your blogging about, that passion will carry you far, and you will blog even better as a result!

I have not yet gone any of the common routes taken in making money blogging, but have slowly been building a regular readership and clientele. At some point of time I shall start sharing my experiences with my readers, perhaps with another blog and the advise given here will certainly come in handy. A well written report. Thank you.
I don’t get very well the concept here, so I believe people may disagree with it.
I think one point to be added to your last one is you shouldn't beat yourself up if you can't do it every day. It is good to try and write something everyday, but if your blocked, stressed or just cant restrain yourself to that schedule then it isn't the end of the world. Just keep on writing as much as you possibly can.
And if you can't add a post everyday then participate in other comments and forums. These still constitute as writing.

You rase some very valid points. One thing I would like to add is that there are far too many blog posts out there that have ben written just for the sake of it. If you don't have anyting to write about that is going to add value to the web then IMO you shouldn't bother!

Link building for your blog is very important.
Random articles are a great way to reach more people. You get ranked for weird long tail phrases and ,if it's weird enough, get some social networking traffic.
Some good tips. Especially writing from experiences, can bring in good readerhip. People want usefull articles not just a re-write of other stuff. Make sure you're honest when writin though
