Thoughts from last month
Last month I felt I really started getting in a groove with posting frequency. I’ve decided to not worry too much about making money specifically from this blog and focus more on providing insight, tools, thoughts and comments on other projects I’m working on. This will hopefully provide some solid tips and tools you can use to grow your own projects.
What I’m working on this month
This month I’m trying a couple of application/plugin swaps on blueverse.com. First, I’m booting Kontera. Notice above, it made a whoppin 4 cents last month! I’m going to try a couple of other tools, so it will be a good test ground to see how they work. I’ll report my results next month so you’ll know what works.
Second, I’m going to try a few new approaches to advertising. Again try some different things to see how they work on this blog so we can roll them out to other blogs. Also, we’ve got a great 30 day series starting this next month. Keep an eye out for it.

I always like these blog income posts. They provide so much info to your readers. I definitely agree with your decision to drop kontera. It's surprising how many sites/blogs keep low performing ads, often at the cost of lowering CTR on other ads.

I found that you dont write paid reviews, as it is also a great way to make money blogging, may I ask why you don't do this? If I am you, I think that I will be very happy join in a paid review network

I've done paid reviews in the past, but haven't had any for a month or so. I need to get the blog into a decent paid review network.

I really love these income reports. These reports show us new and proven ways to make money with our blogs. So far I haven't tried making money with LinkXL and Kontera. I'm going to try both of these in the next few days. I have been able to make some good amount of money with text link ads network

Yes, I've done alright with Kontera in the past, but it hasn't been performing well lately. I think it's time to see what other options are out there. I have one alternative in particular that claims a significant improvement over Kontera for those who have switched. We'll see. It's easy to go back to Kontera if nothing else performs, but gotta test to see.

They're some good earnings, your banners are performing really well. It's a pity about Kontera doing so badly but I'm sure you'll find a different kind of way to make money. As someone else said, paid reviews would be a great source of income.

Nice that you publish your blog income. Many bloggers write their posts in a way, that they promote openly some product by writing useful reviews. This could be an option to you.
