Thoughts from last month
I don’t have a whole lot to say about last month, so I won’t make up useless dribble. Adsense was double what it has been. Infolinks continues to kick Kontera’s ass in terms of earnings for blueverse.com in particular.
What I’m working on this month
I’ve been thinking a lot about the future of blog monetization. I think banner ads are a dying breed. Inline ads suck as do text link ads. I like reviews. Referrals seem to be a solid method as well…BUT…there has to be something more. I haven’t found that “something” yet, but I’d like to. I have a lot of blogs to push whatever method rises to the challenge of providing some decent cash.

Yes, that is also effective. But if you wanted to gain a lot of traffic pointing towards your money site, widen your scope even more. Write some articles, contribute it to some article directories so that a lot of people will know something about your site.

Nice job doubling up your adsense income. Keep it up.
Have you explored the option of Paid Per Lead? If you can select the products that your viewers are interested in, you can make the $176 in 5-6 referrals per month. The key is to put up offers that your viewers will go for. Give it some thoughts. Cheers

Can you tell me, what is linkXL and what kind of experience do you have with them? are they spammy or not?
I thought that adsense was the one that was making the most money usually
Oh and one more tip, as for me infolinks is annoying, i wouldnt put that on my blog but i understand the ones that do

Have you considered promoting affiliate products? That can be a good source of income for any website. There is plenty of related products like seo software that could be reviewed with an affiliate link. AdSense even has an affiliate program.

That's not too bad of an income for a month (depending on how much you're maintaing and updating this blog, however). If you don't mind me asking, how much time do you spend on this blog alone? Looks like Adsense is one of your big dogs. Do you tend to lean towards image ads, text ads, or a mixture of both when using Adsense?

- You can use Adsense in your RSS feeds.
- Optimize your Adsense for higher CTR (test images/text, test different text layouts)
- Build a lot of twitter followers and use ad.ly to receive large checks
- Send your emaillist affiliate offers
- Optimize your site layout for higher CTR (using website optimizer and crazyegg.com)
- Make your own product about making money online and sell it
– Have affiliates sell the product for you

I've never used InfoLinks. I initially thought they would just annoy readers. They seem to generate more revenue than I thought. I might give them a go.

Wow I didn't realize that those InfoLinks ads would bring in that much money. Personally I really dislike how they lower the appearance of a website, but there is obviously some money there. Still, I don't know if I would cover a blog with those annoying text links for that little money.

Why don't you try V7N Contextual Network.They pay through paypal and you don't have to wait for the payment.They pay $10 per link and their minimum requirement is PR 3 Blog.As your PR is 4 you can easily make a decent income through this program.

No offense, but for your traffic and your pr, doesn't it seem rather little? Depending of course on how much time you spend on it? Adsense seems like a waste of time these days. But then I'm in dog urns and pet memorial markers related sites, which is a different ball game.

Well it depends on your niche, but you could do some affiliate marketing if it interest you. You could find affiliate programs and blog about them and try to sell some of their products and materials.

Fastblogincome.com is a scam. They sign you up for $2 then make it impossible to cancel and/or get a refund on the $75 a month charge that isn't even all that clear when you sign up. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY! Total scam!

What is LInkXL? Never heard of it.
I think if you play a little with the adsense placement you would get a better CTR. (Try adding links)

I've found that TLA is low for me it has been a reliable regular income.
Kontera for me is rubbish. $0.01 a click? I'm moving to InfoLinks after seeing what you earned with them, assuming they approve me of course.
I earn the majority of my money by writing paid reviews.
