I’ve been thinking a lot about Blueverse.com the last few months and what I really wanted from the blog as well as what I wanted others to get from it. There’s lots of solid content here and the last year I’ve written mostly about things in the Make Money Online and Blogging space that interested me.
One of the things I’ve had a desire to do for a long time, though, is to bring to light some solid ways people could get started making money online whether that be through blogging, selling e-books/knowledge, selling physical goods, providing Internet related services or whatever lines up with your interests and passions. One of the things that drives me nuts about people in general (myself included!) is the lack of diving in and making something happen. We tend to consume lots of information, but have a hard time taking steps that produce results.
Couple that with all of the fluff, BS, and shady practices of lots of gurus producing the “how to” videos that are supposed to help us, and it can get pretty expensive as well as discouraging pretty quick. I’d love to see some transparency in the Make Money Online space, kind of like what Timothy Sykes is doing in the world of investing (see TimothySykes.com for more info…the dude is straight up). In the end, I don’t think any of us have a hard time spending money on something that will help us learn how to do better at making money.
With those two things in mind, I decided to kill two birds with one stone and do a 30 Day Project to see if I could put the Shoemoney System to work and actually make money using the training and methods Jeremy supposedly teaches. To provide some accountability for myself, I’m going to post a [mostly] daily update on how things are going, my thoughts, and how much I’ve made thus far. This will also answer the question for you: Does it really work?
Now before you launch into all the reasons in your mind why I’ll be able to make it work (assuming that’s the outcome), but you won’t, you should know that I’m going to approach this like I was my dad (who’s retired) who doesn’t currently make a dime online, nor have any clue how to even get started. I’m going to watch every video Shoemoney makes available and follow the steps. I won’t give you the details of what he talks about since that wouldn’t be fair to him, but I’ll give you the overview and more specifically what I’m working on over the course of the month.

So glad you're doing this. I look forward to reading all your posts on this. I imagine part of the "make money" with Shoemoney is the commission form the affiliate link. Not a bad thing at all, I just hope there;s more to it than that.

I won't count commission income as part of the experiment. Only what I make using the techniques Shoe teaches.
