Thoughts and what I’m working on
Income was down this month. Broke under the $100 mark. I’m not super worried about it. I got rid of Infolinks, so that took away some income. Also, Goggle Adsense was less than half of what it was last month. I’m much less worried about making money on this blog and want to make sure I’m providing some value in some way, shape or form. The money will come at some point.
That said, I am definitely working on a couple of ideas for getting the income back up on this blog. My goal is to reach $1,000/mo in revenue by the end of 2010. I’ve got a variety of things to try, but have been focused on other things, so I need to get on the ball and get them going. They will also provide some good content that will hopefully help everyone out.
One of the things taking my attention lately has been my 30 Day Shoemoney System Review project. I know the content has not been amazing so far for everyone, but I’ve been trying to provide an honest perspective of what I’ve been doing with it, what my experiences have been so far and how much I’ve made (or in my case NOT made). I’ve still got another 13 days on the system, so hopefully we get some action soon.
I’m still working on finalizing direction for this blog for the next year, so please feel free to send me thoughts, comments, things you’d like covered, etc. I’m ALWAYS willing to consider anyone’s opinions.
Also, a big THANK YOU for being a Blueverse.com reader!!! You are awesome!!!

Congrats on your blog earnings. I agree with others that it can fluctuate a bit some times but that just makes the 'jackpots' that much more sweeter.
Till then,
Jean

If you're one of the Top 10 for the month and are included in a monthly blog earnings post, then yes they will.

That's a very modest goal you've set for yourself at $1,000 per month, I think it is definitely do-able! It's great that you reward your members the way you do, makes me want to be a part of your site =D

I hadn't heard of LinXL either and my own goal was to reach $1,000 per month in earnings by December 2010. Good luck to both of us reaching that goal.

Good luck on making it to $1000. How's the shoemoney system working for you? I haven't tried it but I've been tempted.

Been following your income the last few months. Sorry to see a dip, but I am confident that you are providing enough content to get that boosted back up. I'm excited to see you cross the $1000 threshold someday.

Why has your Adsense revenue dropped so much?
I remember your monthly revenue used to be $200 +
May 25th, 2010 at 8:58 pm
That's a great question David. I think the amount paid per click is probably the biggest culprit. I'm going to try a few new ad layouts and placements as well to see if we can boost it back up.

Congratulation. Very good effort on your part. The Adsense revenue has dropped. You should consider off-page campaign to bring more targeted traffic.
