Thoughts and what I’m working on
Been a whirlwind of a month. I’ve put a bunch of projects online that I’ve been working on or thinking about over the last 6 months. Trying to be more action oriented rather than just an info collector.
One of the projects I focused on for Blueverse.com was my Shoemoney System Review. I spent 30 days working on the system and writing up a daily review. It was a big waste of time and was downright boring. I haven’t been back into the system in probably 3 weeks. I need to jump back in, watch the new videos available and give a little update. Honestly, I’m just having a hard time finding the motivation since the 30 day project was such a bust.
I have a few things on tap to cover this month and hope to do some more reviews as well as a couple of how to guides. As always, let me know if there’s something you’d like me to cover. Also, if anyone would like to gain some exposure for themselves, feel free to send in a guest post.

I loved your Shoemoney System Review. I thought for sure you would gain a ton of followers from the review. If I were you I'd sell advertising directly to companies. Stop relying on just 3rd party ads. It's all about making your business your own. After reading your Shoemoney review I lost a lot of respect for Shoemoney. What a joke of a program.

I can't blame you for not wanting to spend more time on the Shoemoney System. While it is temping to hold off in case he releases some good videos, it would just frustrate me to keep checking back only to find nothing good. By all means, save yourself some time and get your refund before the 60 days is up. You don't want that to keep hurting productivity.

I always look forward to earnings post. I have to admit that I am the same way when it comes to projects. I always plan them out and get info on them and then slack on the action part. I need to change that as well! Good luck on your projects.

You know, I actually have been thinking about getting rid of LinkXL. I'm not sure it's all that it's cracked up to be. I'm starting to swing back towards Adsense for straight up easy monetization.

Earning good amount of money from online consistently is a dream come true for many of us.Congratulations for your May 2010 income.. i like Shoemoney.,but from what I understand, the system is a monthly charge and you get emailed new videos each week…it is so bad that you spent 30 days working on that and find nothing good..Good luck on your projects.

Just want to say: Do not be afraid to give up on an idea that you think is mistake. But if you know it is good idea, then never give up. It is little hard to know which of the two advices to follow, but have them in mind.

Ad Sense has a tendency to perform very different on different sites and niches. Also such simple things as increasing a sidebar banner from 120px to 160px are likely to cause an increase in clicks.

Yes AdSense earnings can vary drastically for different niches. It is best to do a lot of testing to see what ad sizes and locations perform best. You may have strong assumptions about what you think will work best, but it should still be tested.
